Further reports have likewise uncovered a fall in the selling costs and a result fall in the net revenue delighted in by associations in the PC deals and administration showcasing industry. Obviously this demonstrates towards an undeniably testing market structure attributable to which the arranged business should be very engaged regarding quality and client benefits through powerful flexibly chain the board. For example, wher e on one hand the asset prerequisite can be seen as low during the hour of commencement as no necessity of enormous refined office spaces and other mandatory resources will be required separated from talented HR; then again, as time goes on, huge expenses for profiting inventive innovation aids and expanding the dais for serving the clients might be brought about and hence, the business may require persistent inflow of money and evidently at an expanding rate for its continuation. In the comparative setting, Mahdjoubi (2004) confirmed that marketable strategy is viewed as the significant wellspring of confirmations required for choices in speculation screening. Researchers have given different systems to structure the way toward setting-up of an association which is regularly portrayed as a mind boggling marvel. As expressed via Carter and

Nebular Model of the Solar system

Nebular Model of the Solar framework Presentation Philosophers and researchers, especially the space experts, have been searching for data relating to how the universe was formed.Advertising We will compose a custom research paper test on Nebular Model of the Solar framework explicitly for you for just $16.05 $11/page Learn More Even however there is no single legitimate model that clarifies the way wherein the universe was shaped, there is one model that fulfills the most noteworthy portion of cosmologists: the nebular speculation or model. The model isn't just the most well known yet additionally the one that gathers a few accurate contentions on its records for the development of the universe. The theory goes back to 1734 when Emanuel Swedenborg (Woolfson 1984, p.6) first proposed it. It dates the development of the universe back since some 4.6 billion years following the breakdown of an interstellar atomic haze of particles involving ice, rock, and residue among others. Be that as it may, a few reactions were raised on it for two or three years making it become undesirable. One of the focal reactions of the nebular theory laid on its failure to give a clarification on why the sun needed precise force in examination with every single other planet, which circle around it (Fogg Nelson 2007, p.1195). By and by, â€Å"now, it is back with an authoritative model† (Gomes et al. 2005, p.466). As from mid 1980s, gigantic investigations have been carried on youthful stars. The investigations show that youthful stars are â€Å"surrounded by cool circles and gas, precisely as the nebular theory predicts† (Gomes et al. 2005, p.468). This has made the nebular speculation to be reaccepted. Following this approval of nebular speculation, this paper thinks that its sufficient to depict nebular model of the close planetary system combined with the highlights of nearby planetary group that the model explains.Advertising Looking for examine paper on stargazing? Get your first paper with 15% OFF Learn More Description of Nebular model of the close planetary system According to nebular model of the arrangement of the universe, the development of the nearby planetary group is innate to the development of the stars and planetary plates. The figure beneath shows basics of universe development. Source: (Kokubo Ida 2002, p.673) Formation of Stars are accepted to have been shaped from a mammoth haze of atomic hydrogen, which was as large as multiple times the size of the sun (Montmerle at al. 2006, p.42). The nebular hypothesis of the nearby planetary group approximates that the monstrous falling of the proto-heavenly nebulae occurred around 100, 000 years prior (Pudritz 2002, p.69). All clouds start with some precise force. A gas is found at the focal point of each nebular. Comparative with the external parts, this gas has a lower precise force. It experiences an inconceivable pressure coming about to the development of a hot center that do esn't contract. The core’s mass is lesser than the first mass of the whole cloud (Mohanty, Ray Basri 2005, p.492). The center comprises the seed, which, while completely developed, structures the stars. Further falling shortens into maintenance of the precise energy. Subsequently, â€Å"the pivot of the in-falling wrap quickens which to a great extent keeps the gas from straightforwardly accumulating onto the focal core† (Klahr Bodenheimer, 2003, p.869). Compellingly, the gas discovers its direction outwards near â€Å"the central plane of the center, which thusly frames the plate that further accumulates onto the shaped core† (Klahr Bodenheimer 2003, p.887).Advertising We will compose a custom research paper test on Nebular Model of the Solar framework explicitly for you for just $16.05 $11/page Learn More This causes the center to develop eminently as far as mass to the degree that it makes up a proto-star, which is hot. In this specific stage, the in-falling envelope immensely darkens the proto-star combined with its plate making it straightforwardly undetectable (Mohanty, Ray Basri 2005, p.499). The proto-star produces a radiation, which is in the request for sub-millimeters or millimeters. Nebular hypothesis arranges these proto-stars as having a place with class zero. In any case, the iridescence of these proto-stars is in a perfect world extremely high extending in the request for 100. This vitality begins from gravitational breakdown (Kokubo Ida 2002, p.666). It happens in light of the fact that the centers of the proto-stars have not gotten hot enough to the degree that the procedure of atomic combination can start. At the point when the materials shaping the envelope continue falling into the proto-star plate, a heavenly item gets prominent. This happens at first in the area of infrared and in an obvious scope of electromagnetic range later. At the point when the proto-star accumulates enough mass above, around multiple times of that of Jupiter, hydrogen combination starts. Nonetheless, when this mass is lower than this, an earthy colored diminutive person object is created (Mohanty Ray Basri 2005, p.508). Improvement of new stars happens around 100, 000 endless supply of the breakdown procedure. The subsequent sun oriented system’s objects are named class one proto-stars at this level. During the following stage, the plate assembles the envelope. This outcomes to its vanishing. The subsequent proto-star is the T Tauri star. As indicated by Mohanty, Ray and Basri (2005), â€Å"the mass of the plate around a traditional T Tauri star is about 1â€3% of the heavenly mass, and it is accumulated at a pace of 10-7 to 10-9 sunlight based masses for every year† (p.505).Advertising Searching for explore paper on space science? How about we check whether we can support you! Get your first paper with 15% OFF Find out More An old style T Tauri star has properties, for example, â€Å"emission limes, presence of planes, photometric inconstancy, solid motion, and ownership of attractive activities† (Mohanty, Ray Basri 2005, p.505). The development of the discharge lines is owed to the hitting of the star’s surface by accumulated gas. This happens inside the attractive posts. The planes are essentially the roads through which the over the top energy of the star is lost. Development of planetary circles and planetary framework Apart from the arrangement of stars, another fundamental worry of the nebular model is to give a clarification of how the proto-planetary plates are shaped. This gives instruments of establishing the framework on arrangement of a clarification on how the whole universe shaped, just as how it persistently develops. Nebular theory holds that, in specific situations and arrangements, rather than vanishing of the planetary plate, it might give ascend into a planetary framewo rk. Megeath et al. underpins this contention by asserting, â€Å"Proto-planetary plates have been seen around an exceptionally high portion of stars in youthful star clusters† (2005, p.114). A case of development of a proto-planetary plate in Orion cloud is appeared in the figure underneath. Source: (Font et al. 2004, p.901) Disks exist directly from the beginning of the procedure of development of stars. In any case, in the beginning times, it is absurd to expect to see them as a result of murkiness in the condition that encompasses a proto-star. For a class zero proto-star, the planetary circle is colossally hot. Thusly, inside the circle, a large number of the unstable materials vanish deserting hard-headed components. Along these lines, ice can just exist in the furthest piece of the plate (Font et al 2004, p.901). Rough planets are shaped in the internal segments of the proto-planetary circles. In these areas, temperatures are too high to even think about permitting buil dup of ice combined with certain different substances to frame grains (Sean, Quinn Lunine 2007, p.67). Thusly, coagulation of grains that are rough in nature happen prompting formation of planetensimals that are rough. In the expressions of Montmerle et al (2006), the conditions â€Å"are thought to exist in the inward 3-4 AU part of the plate of a sun-like star† (p.73). On the development of the planetensimals from the proto-planetary plates, the procedure of out of control growth starts. During this procedure, the planetary body develops to such an extent that M4/3 is straightforwardly corresponding to R4 (Montmerle et al 2006, p.65) where R is the span of the developing body while M is its mass. At the point when this procedure is finished, the phases of oligarchic gradual addition and merger follow separately. These are the last two phases for the arrangement of a rough planet. Highlights of nearby planetary group clarified by nebular close planetary system The nebular hy pothesis for the development of the close planetary system clarifies the procedure of arrangement of various highlights that make up the close planetary system. They incorporate stars, planets, and space rocks among others. The hypothesis holds that the universe shaped when the interstellar gas atoms that were loaded up with ice, shakes, and tidies among different particles immediately crumbled. This breakdown was brought about by a disturbance whose repercussions was warming up of these particles making them transform into stars. At first, the parts that make up the universe were as mists. A dust storm accepted to shape the close planetary system by space experts is demonstrated as follows. Source: (Montmerle et al 2006, p.47) During the nearby planetary group arrangement process, a large portion of these mists settled at the middle to frame the sun. Then again, a portion of the materials got smoothed to frame the planetary circles (Montmerle et al 2006, p.49). Material creation up the plates framed the planet combined with different items that are found in the nearby planetary group. Different materials stayed together to shape solids (balls), which developed greater when more materials slammed into them. The balls shaped the centers of the planets. At the point when the developing solids built up their own gravitational pulls, the pace of fascination of ice and tidies particles turned out to be significantly increasingly upgraded. Stars and earthbound planets as to the nebular speculation, stars came about because of the thick and enormous particles of hydrogen fumes. The

The Business Case for Curiosity

The Business Case for Curiosity Humans are curious beings. It is in our very nature to ask questions no one has asked before and to look for the answers to those questions and the questions that haven’t been answered before.Sometimes that curiosity can result in marvelous achievements and scientific breakthroughs, which all leads to technological progress. Many innovations, business practices, and tools, used in various branches, are the results of people’s curiosity. In this article, we will analyze why curiosity is important in business, why should employees be curious about everything they do and why should employers instigate curiosity in their employees.WHAT IS CURIOSITY?Humans are naturally curious creatures. Our propensity to learn and thrive is one of the strongest human urges, which keeps us in the state of the infinite search for answers. If we look at it as a constantly working mechanism, we can say that curiosity is the engine that powers that mechanism.   We can look at it as an evolutionary tool, o ne of the most important crucial for our survival. One of the most joyful feelings is to discover something new and the unknown. Everyone who has experienced it would tell you the same. That moment when we learn something we haven’t known before, the moment when we band together all of the things that seemed to be separated, is the moment of a great delight and personal fulfillment.Vis-à-vis that feeling of joy and curiosity is a fear of the unknown, which can bring new, unpredictable consequences and dangers. This fear lies in all of us, but everyone experiences it in a different way. Some people are, let’s use a business language here, more or less risk averse. Some are sparked, even attracted to danger, while on the other hand, there are those who value safety above everything else and who hate the very same thought that they could be exposed to a danger, especially the one unfamiliar to them. Those people suffocate their own curiosity because they fear everything new and the unknown and the failure it can bring. They fear to make mistakes and, thus, they are killing their own curiosity and preventing their own advancement. For one thing is certain, there cannot be an advancement without making mistakes and learning from them.Apart from these internal factors, there is a lot of external influence which fetters our curiosity, such as routine jobs, boring daily routine and in some cases the school system, which, in some regimes can limit what children learn and that way create people who are susceptible to authority and repetitive jobs, whose curiosity is completely drowned in that “cycle of doom”.That is why, if we want to grow intellectually, spiritually, socially and morally, we always need to ask questions and look for answers, because when we suppress our natural curiosity, we can feel the emptiness inside of us, which we then try to fill with meaningless and corrupted things, which definitely cannot replace real feeling of joy that curiosity can c reate.CURIOSITY IN BUSINESS: YAY OR NAY?In the past, this topic was not considered so important. The main reason for that is globalization. Though globalization is not a new term since its roots date back to around 16th century, the effects of modern globalization started to show after World War 2. Businesses started to grow again, the global market opened and the world started to change.Nowadays business environment is fast-changing, information travel fast all around the world, so companies must be ready to adapt to any change if they want to survive. That is why innovation and new ideas are welcomed in any branch of business. When a problem occurs, it usually needs to be taken care of fast, while maintaining the standard of working quality.Finding the right solution could sometimes be tricky, so people have to be curious because when we are curious, we tend to think out of the box, which often leads to making the right decision and solving the problem in question. So it does not m atter if a job is routine, repetitive or creative. This applies to every type of job. Every industry, no matter how repetitive it is, needs curious people. That is why employers should instigate curiosity in their employees, not suppress it. It improves people, companies, and industries, which later leads to the advancement of the entire society. You may think this is not true because of the various jobs or job interviews you may have had, where employers just wanted you to follow their routine, do your job, no questions asked. And yes, there are a lot of people in the private sector thinking this way, including a lot of big firms. They are all afraid of consequences that can come with potential failures. Their reasons will be analyzed later in the text.Right now, we will give a simple answer to the question “Curiosity in business: Yay or Nay?”. And the answer is definitely “Yay”!WHY CHOOSE CURIOSITY?Italian-American behavioral scientist and the Tandon Family Professor at Har vard Business School, Francesca Gino did a research on this topic and listed several main positive outcomes of being curious in business. We will go through her research and analyze the results.Firstly, one of the main results was that curiosity about your job helps with decision making. When we are curious we are less likely to make mistakes when it comes to our decisions. Instead of being simple-minded about some things (i.e. women being suitable to lead, searching for confirmation about your opinion etc.), curious people tend to broaden their mind and open it for a wide range of new possible outcomes without any prejudice.Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour at INSEAD, Spencer Harrison, did several research projects, trying to assess the impact of curiosity on the business result. In one research, an increased sale of goods was said to be a result of a 34% rise in employee’s creativity. In another research, he tested call centers, where they surveyed employees from 10 companies. The outcome was that the employees who were curious, who were asking all kinds of questions and shared information with colleagues, were ones who had the highest success when it comes to increased creativity with dealing with the customers’ problems.Professor Gino conducted another research, where she divided the group of 200 employees in 2 groups. The experiment lasted four weeks. Two days a week half of those employees were sent a message asking them what are they curious about on that particular day, asking them to rethink the way they do their work. Those people acted as an experimental group. The other group of people was also getting messages, but of a different kind. They were asked what their usual activities are on that particular day, so mostly, questions about their routine. That group acted as a control group. The results showed that the people from the experimental group got better results, because their curiosity was instigated, so they were more open-minded and thought of creative solutions for the problems their companies were facing with.As Professor Gino had said: “When we are curious, we view tough situations more creatively.”Another result that came out of the study was that people with boosted curiosity are more inclined to work with their colleagues instead of picking a fight with them. The reason is they try to put themselves in each other places and listen to each other suggestions. It also shows that the people whose curiosity has been induced work better as a team than teams whose ideas and thoughts are limited. This is why curiosity is one of the most important values employers are looking for when they hire new people. There is the full list of skills and values that you can check, and which can be really helpful.YOU WANT TO BE CURIOUS? I DONT THINK SO!We’ve discussed the positive side and outcomes curiosity in business can bring. We’ve seen that it can be a very positive factor. Then, you may ask, why it is not mor e widespread? Why most companies try to suffocate curiosity in their employees? You may think it is because their leaders do not understand how valuable curiosity can be.No, that is not the case. Despite what people who don’t like their bosses say, most of the leaders are not stupid. They know that boosting curiosity is a good thing if it is conducted properly. There are two main reasons which stop leaders from sparking curiosity in their employees. In this capitalistic world money is power. And to gain more money than competitors and claim the market, companies have to be efficient. Because of that, they set a goal and pursue it and by doing so they often harm exploration part of the job, by rejecting some ideas which could bring some benefit in the future. As an example, we can bring up Ford Industry. Almost everyone is aware of the significance Henry Ford installed in our lives by using the production line to reduce production costs of a new car. By 1921 Ford Industry covered more than a half of car market in the USA.However, a couple of years late, the United States’ economy was boosted, the hunger for new products has risen and the consumers wanted more diverse products. At the same time, Ford Industry was just working on improvements for their Model T car, while nothing new has been introduced. In another corner of the ring, there was General Motors. Their focus was not on making one same model. They decided to make a range of different car models and it wasn’t long before they took over the market from Ford. As we can see, Ford Industry lost because it didn’t focus on innovations. That is why innovating is so important in today’s fast-changing world. If you want to see the story about Henry Ford, I recommend you to check this short video. The other reason leaders do not instigate curiosity is a fear of failure. They often think if they instigated the curiosity, it would lead the company to the edge of the cliff in case of a failure. In those cases, they are concerned with the costs that could come out of those failures and, as we have already mentioned, efficiency is very important when it comes to maintaining a healthy company. They fear, that if employees were to trust their instincts, try out new things, apply some fresh ideas, it could lead to a budget catastrophe in case of failures because it would be more difficult to control all the workers who would pursue their own ideas. Decisions would be much harder to make, which could potentially slacken the execution of the business processes in the company.Another concern is that searching and exploring new options don’t always end up being useful and cost-efficient. But on the other hand, if successful, it can bring a lot of positive results to the company. The conclusion is that leaders are not stupid, they know how important curiosity is, but they need to balance between efficiency and investing in innovations, which is most of the times, not an easy job.WHAT CAN EMPLOYERS DO TO SPARK CURIOSITY?There are several ways employers can instigate curiosity in their employees.Look for curious individuals and hire them! The best way to instigate curiosity is to have curious people in your team. And the best way to do that is to hire curious individuals. The most known example of this strategy is Google. It is known for looking for curious people, sometimes they don’t even have to have the right education, as long as they meet Google’s requirements. They use various methods to go through this selection and make the right choices, from online tests to interview questions.Have you ever wonder why employers often ask you about your hobbies and interests? Yes, you guessed it right! That is another good strategy for finding curious individuals. Apart from that, they are very interested in the questions you, as an applicant, may have for them, regarding their company and the job itself.Be the role model! Most employees, especially the younger ones, need to have a person to look up to, someone who can be their role model. If you want to have curious employees, you, as an employer, have to be curious yourself. Show them they can pursue their ideas, think of new, innovative ways to do their jobs, while at the same time helping the company itself. One of the good ways of doing it is not just to impose your authority, but to listen to what your employees have to say. “A good king listens to its people.” Even in the medieval times, one of the most important qualities of a ruler was his ability to listen, observe and to consider other opinions. When you are wrong, accept it and let it be an example to the people that no one is perfect, that everyone can make mistakes and learn from them.Continuous learning as a priority! You know how in most of the jobs there is some quota to hit. Companies often prioritize fulfilling that quota, so there is a little time for anything else. Well, some think it should be different, that instead of prioritizing c ertain performance quota, leaders should prioritize learning and advancement of their employees, which would later benefit the entire company. This strategy suggests that employers should instigate people to learn new skills, motivate them to ask questions, thus improving their overall abilities.Employers can use different ways to motivate employees. If you want to know more, make sure to check Bob Nelson’s video where he talks about this topic. Cut the leash! In the last part, we talked about motivating employees to learn. Most of the time, they can’t do that alone. Specialized training and seminars are often way too expensive, so most of the employees cannot afford that. That’s why a good leader should from time to time offer to pay for the employee’s training. It can achieve two things.First, the employee in question would most likely see that gesture as a company’s responsibility for its employees, which could potentially raise his morale and he wouldn’t want to leave the company later. And second, the company itself would improve the skills of employees, which could lead to an increase in productivity and thus to higher profits.Even though this sounds perfect, sometimes it can backfire, when employees quit after the training and go to the competitors. But this is a risk that companies need to accept because potential benefits outgrow the risks most of the time.CONCLUSIONIn this article, we’ve analyzed the most important aspects when it comes to curiosity in business. We’ve seen that there are a lot of positive outcomes if employees are curious about their job. We’ve also seen that a lot of companies still refuse to instigate curiosity because they are scared of the costs of the failure.Sometimes being curious doesn’t bring appropriate results, but that doesn’t mean we should stop being curious. That is just another obstacle on the way of learning because without being curious we could lose our identity, become slaves of the system and be like robots.

Controversy Surrounding Birth Control - Free Essay Example

There have been many controversies surrounding the topic of birth control. While there are multiple different forms of birth control, however, only some forms seem to be more controversial over the others. Those controversies to be discussed in the following paper will focus on whether pharmacists should or shouldnt be allowed to refuse to fill birth control prescriptions. While briefly describing all the different forms of birth control, the focus will be surrounding hormonal birth control, since these are the main forms of birth control that pharmacists refuse to fill. First, a brief description of the different forms of birth control, including hormonal and nonhormonal forms. Birth control can be roughly divided into five different groups, including hormonal methods, barrier methods, intrauterine device (IUD), natural methods and finally emergency contraception (Birth Control Options). Hormonal methods would be combining hormones including the pill, patch and nuva-ring, and a progestin-only method like a progestin-only pill or Depo-Provera. Barrier methods including condoms, either internal or external, spermicides like VCF, foam, gel or sponge, a diaphragm or cervical cap for women, and finally sterilization by a vasectomy or tubal ligation, tying a womans tubes. Natural methods would include abstinence, fertility awareness method (FAM), lactational amenorrhea method (LAM) and withdrawal (Birth Control Options). IUDs are Tshaped intrauterine devices that are placed into the uterus of women and block the fallopian tubes, with a slow release of hor mones for the duration of its implantation. Emergency contraceptives is something that a woman can get after she has had unprotected intercourse without any form of birth control. There are four types of EC to choose from and they all work up to 5 days (or 120 hours) after unprotected sex (Power To Decide). Emergency contraception will reduce a womans chances of an unintended pregnancy after unprotected sex. While this is a brief description of all the different forms of birth control, the paper will now focus on the controversies surrounding pharmacists refusing to fill hormonal birth control prescriptions. Next, the argument discussed in the article Pharmacists Should Not Be Allowed to Refuse to Fill Birth Control Prescriptions. In this article, Thomasson argues that it is unethical for pharmacists to impose their beliefs and judgments on others, and certainly not their right to decide whether a woman should use birth control (Thomasson). Women could be using birth control pills for many different reasons. A woman could have been raped and wants to prevent a pregnancy from the traumatizing event. Another reason that women could be on birth control is because if they were to become pregnant, whether it be her first pregnancy or her third, her health would be in danger and even the life of the baby could be a risk. The decision to use birth control is already a difficult enough, without the opinions of a stranger. In the end, a pharmacies job is to provide and fill medications that are prescribed by doctors to their patients. If a woman goes to get her prescription filled at her pharmacy , but the pharmacist refuses to fill it because of their own personal beliefs surrounding birth control, the women might not have another pharmacy to get her birth control. If the woman doesnt have transportation, then how is she supposed to get to another pharmacy, so that she can get her prescription filled. In the article, Thomasson states that Several states-California, New Jersey, Illinois and Washington- already have passed laws requiring a pharmacy to fill all prescriptions or help women get them elsewhere (Thomasson). It is not up to the pharmacist to deny the right of any medication to their patients, and it seems to be becoming an issue in that states must make laws to require a pharmacy to do their job. Thomasson concludes that pharmacists should fill all prescriptions that come their way without passing judgement on patients (Thomasson). Being a pharmacist requires filling all the prescriptions that come into the pharmacy, something that all pharmacists know before agree ing to become a pharmacist. In contrast, the argument discussed in the article Pharmacists Should Be Allowed to Refuse to Fill Birth Control Prescriptions. In the article, Bandow argues the other side to the controversy in that a pharmacist should be allowed to refuse to fill a prescription based on their moral beliefs. A pharmacist should have the right to refuse to dispense a medication to a patient in which they have a prescription from a doctor (Bandow). Pharmacists are not just refusing to fill birth control prescriptions but also the morning after pill, which would be a form of emergency contraception. In the article, there is a picture of a pharmacist, named Rich Quayle, who is standing in front of his Walgreens Store where he refuses to dispense the morning after pill because of his religious beliefs (Bandow). Just because this one pharmacist refuses to fill birth control prescriptions or the morning after pill, does not mean that all pharmacists will refuse to fill them because of their personal belief s. Bandow concludes that laws that inhibit a pharmacists right to execute his belief by refusing to fill a prescription are wrong (Bandow). A couple states have made laws that require pharmacies to fill the prescriptions that their patients bring in from their doctors. Bandow believes that a pharmacist should be allowed to refuse to fill birth control prescriptions because of their own personal belief when they personally disagree with women taking birth control. Since both sides of the argument discuss the religious beliefs of pharmacist being the main reason they refuse to fill a womens birth control, a little more should be said about why religions either prohibit or permit the use of birth control. The reasons why birth control in prohibited is different for every religion. The use of birth control is prohibited by some religions for reasons such as that men are not permitted to waste their seed or that it is a violation of the design built into the human race by God (Ritter Graham). Though there is no pill that a man takes that will waste their seed, the hormonal birth controls that women take will waste their seed. It wastes mens seed because it prevents the women from becoming pregnant after sexual intercourse. While many religions prohibit birth control methods, some religions do permit the use of birth control but only certain forms of it. Some religions permit hormonal birth control use but prohibit the use of any form of birth con trol methods that would block or destroy sperm. Another reason that birth control may be allowed in some religions is that it is used into between the birth of a womens children. If the women was to become pregnant again right after giving birth would pose a risk to her or the babies health. Another reasons would inlcude when a man cannot financially support another child at that time. Religions are all different and have their own reasons as to why they permit or prohibit the use of birth control. In the end, the controversies surrounding whether a pharmacist should or should not be allowed to refuse to fill birth control prescriptions is still a major debate. On one hand, pharmacists should not be allowed to refuse the prescription because its not ethical for them to impose their own personal beliefs onto others. They dont know the reasons behind why a woman is taking birth control, so adding their opinion to the situation could make it more complicated than the decisions already is. Like any profession a person is going into, a pharmacist is aware of the duties that he or she will have to perform. On the other hand, pharmacists should be allowed to refuse to fill the prescription because of their personal beliefs. Different religions either permit or prohibit the use of certain forms of birth control. Personal beliefs are one of the main reasons why pharmacists decide not dispense birth control prescriptions. One of the main controversies surrounding birth control is the whe ther pharmacists should or should not be allowed to refuse to fill birth control prescriptions. There is support for both sides of the argument, but a main factor is the pharmacists own personal belief.
